A tall brown leather album with shield design and delicately die-cut apertures decorated with flowers. Among many highlights are cowboys Ed Deceist, Will Swick and Burger Padfield, two bowler-hatted gents in Coatbridge and a resident of Hamburg with his zither.

One of my favourite albums with a ‘waffle’design. Contains a portrait by the brilliantly named De-Ath and Dunk of Maidstone and another favourite of mine, a portrait by Gillman and Co. of Oxford. 

 

Album 80

An early leather album with floral lithographic pages and an unusual clasp. Contains an inordinate number of Belgians as well as numerable portraits by the upmarket studio of Fradelle, London.

A brown leather album embossed with an art nouveau design and decorated with floral lithographic pages. Don’t miss the man about to stab his Labrador with a stiletto in Bombay (who knows why) and the Midge Brothers in South Africa. Plus some great set dressing in Ballarat, Australia.
